I've been in the hairdressing industry all of my working life and having travelled to nearly every country in Europe and lots more around the world, the industry has been very kind to me the best part has been meeting some of the most amazing stylists.

I started in sales many years ago as a North West distributor for KMS and in 1994 I imported Fudge as a European Distributor and sold out to the parent company in Australia, gaining lots of experience and great contacts, then headhunted by Joico as European Sales Manager for 8 Years, moving the clock forward I decided to go into distribution myself and started distribution Mood several years ago and working hard with my wife Alison have become the biggest distributor of the brand worldwide, we have a great network of distributors covering the UK and hope to welcome you to join the Colour Revolution with Mood

After 25 Years in the education sector I joined Mood hair colour 14 years ago and can say this is far more enjoyable, working with the most talented stylists in the industry and seeing us all grow.

I have been a passionate dedicated hairdresser for 38 years .. hair is my life , colour is my passion and I love transforming the ordinary into extraordinary. I am a wife , mother , friend , and hairdresser who embraces every day as an opportunity to excel … with numerous British Hairdressing awards in my catalogue … My role as Creative Director is to take the brand to the next level supporting and developing the Artistic Team and I will do so with huge pride. Furthermore I will be supporting the Mood distributors around the country with live presentations on how to get the best out of the brand.

Over 44 years’ experience within the Hairdressing Industry Trained as a hairdresser and quickly progressing into training/education. Head hunted by one of the leading manufacturers, I became their presenter and show co-ordinator, with over 2500 shows with most of top names within the industry. For the past 21 years, I have concentrated on implementing Customer Service package into some of the most prestigious and well-known salons in the UK and hundreds of other salons around the world.

During this time I have with major product companies within the industry, from presenter to creating training programs both in the UK and overseas. In recent years I have worked alongside chemists’ developing colour ranges and creating new concepts colour concepts. I joined MOOD 5 years ago as Director of Education in the UK. and works closely with the company in developing education programs Some of the names I have worked with in the past are: Andrew Collinge, Sanrizz, Vidal Sassoon’s, Annie Humphreys, Tim Hartley, Trevor Sorbie, Francesco Group, Keith Hall, Denise McAdam, Toni & Guy, Patrick Cameron, Joshua Galvin, Andrew Jose, Antony Mascolo, Ken Picton, Jennifer Cheyne to mention but a few. With my experience I and knowledge about colour I have no hesitation in recommending Mood I know you won’t be disappointed.

I started my hairdressing journey at the age of 19,after 5 years I opened my first salon with 11 staff members. Over the years I have had my work published in hair and trade magazines, winning awards for colour, hair creations and business This led me down the path of education and the passion of passing my knowledge on to others. My teaching career started nearly 30 years ago and I have been head hunted by several companies to work for them. I still work for one of the major awarding bodies VTCT as a marker, moderator and writer. I have been lucky enough to work all over the UK and Europe in amazing settings with inspirational people. I switched my salon over to Mood 11 years ago and started working for the company 2 years ago. It has been one of the best decisions I have ever decided to do, I adore everything about Mood. I get amazing results with great feedback from clients and the retail flies out. Having been with another brand most of my career it was a big deal transitioning to a whole new brand but well worth it! The coverage, shine and longevity with the colours is the best I have ever worked with. I run my own salon called Urban Hair, Beauty & Training Academy in Scotland and have been hairdressing for 38 years. I have been on stages across Britain demonstrating our wonderful craft and have won numerous awards including recently British Hairdressing Fellowship member of the year 2019. The salon is very busy and around 70% over our clients have some kind of colour service within the salon, with 18 staff product costings are very important to me, however more important are the results, my staff and clients demand this and Mood Hair Colour never lets us down, we have been working with Mood for over 5 years and it is absolutely amazing.

I am a member of the Mood Artistic Team. I have 17 years hairdressing experience and been an educator for over 5 years.
